Two Day Dog Behavior Workshop with Angie Woods

Raleigh, North Carolina. Saturday October 10 and Sunday October 11, 2026.

Audit Ticket, $199

One person, both days, no dog.

Two days on why dogs do what they do, and what has to change in the human before it

changes in the dog. This is dog psychology, not obedience.

You attend everything. Fifteen live evaluations, both full days of teaching, and the whole

framework to take home.

This is the right ticket if

You work with dogs. Trainer, groomer, vet tech, daycare or boarding staff, rescue or

shelter worker, foster coordinator

Your dog is not ready for a room like this. You still need the answers. Your dog does

not need the pressure

You are between dogs, or about to adopt, and you want to get it right from day one

You want to see the work before you commit to hands on time with me

Fifteen evaluations, and two days watching where they lead

The evaluation is the core of everything I do, and you will watch fifteen of them.

Each working dog is read, one at a time. What I am seeing, what is driving it, what is

stress and what is temperament, where the Dogenality℠ sits, and the plan from there.

Dog Psychology 101 Raleigh Store Copy August 5, 2026 7That is fifteen live case studies in one room. Reactivity, fear, guarding, over arousal, and

the dogs who simply cannot settle. Then you watch those same fifteen dogs across two

days and see which reads held and what changed.

Anyone can show you a finished dog. This is the diagnosis, live, and then the road from

there.

What we cover

  • Dogenality℠, the individual dog. Not all dogs are wired the same way. Once you can see the type, the behavior stops looking random.
  • Dog cognition. How a dog thinks, what they can and cannot connect, and why so much of what we ask makes no sense on their end.
  • Dog emotion. What a dog is feeling, not what we assume. Fear, frustration, and over arousal look alike and need opposite answers.
  • Dog language. Everything a dog says before the growl. Most people miss all of it and only catch the last two seconds.
  • The science of scent, emotion, and learning. Dogs read our emotional state chemically, through human pheromones, before a word is spoken. This is why the human has to be balanced before the dog can be rehabbed. It is not philosophy, it is biology. Reading a dog in real time.
  • Live evaluations. The read, the diagnosis, and the plan on real dogs with real problems.
  • Dog psychology versus human psychology. We are primates. They are not. Almost every problem starts in that gap, in the distance between how we love and how they read us.
  • Balance the Human. Controlling your thoughts, gaining emotional fitness, building confidence. You cannot change the dog without changing the person.
  • When to use food, and when not to.
  • The Four Games. Calm and Relax, Invisible Line, Parking Spot, Bubble. Games of skill and communication that carry into the whole dog life. Not tricks, not obedience.
  • Solutions for the problems. Reactivity, fear, guarding, resource guarding, over arousal, the dog who cannot settle, the dog who listens at home and nowhere else. Each one worked live, with the steps laid out as we go.

What you leave with:

  • A framework for reading any dog, not a set of techniques for one
  • The ability to see escalation early, while there are still options
  • Knowing what to do with the dog in front of you, and how to work an issue through instages instead of guessing at it
  • Four games you can teach and use immediately
  • The human half of it, which is most of what you came to watch

Balance the Human + Rehab the Dog = Happy Life.

Included:

  • Both full days
  • Live evaluations
  • Question and answer time with me across both days
  • The Secret Conversation, my essay on human pheromones and why the human comes first.
  • Calm the Chaos, my online course
  • Sixty days of group question and answer access after the workshop via the Live Q& A included in the course.

For rescue and shelter teams

Much of this weekend is about dogs who arrive with history. Reading a dog who is shut

down. Telling fear from low energy. Understanding why the dog you assessed in the

kennel is a different dog three weeks into a foster home.

Bringing three or more people from the same organization?

Email:

info@dogpsychology101.com and we will sort out a group rate.

Schedule:

Both days, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Lunch break at noon, on your own

Day one opens with the evaluations. Every working dog, one at a time

Day two goes to harder ground. Distraction, other dogs, real life.

Angie Woods doesn’t just rehabilitate dogs. She transforms the humans who love them.

A world-renowned dog psychologist, international speaker, educator, and lifelong animal advocate, Angie brings a rare and powerful perspective to canine behavior, one that honors the dog completely while building the human up alongside it.

Known for her kind candor, Angie is direct, deeply compassionate, and relentlessly results-driven. Her foundation includes 17 years in veterinary medicine and more than two decades building and leading U.S. Canine, her Atlanta-area specialty behavior campus for severe and complex dog behavior cases.

Now Angie is bringing that real-world experience to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a two-day Dog Psychology 101 Masterclass designed for dog owners, professionals, and serious students who want to understand what is truly driving behavior and how the human side of the leash shapes the outcome.

This audit ticket is for attendees who want to observe, learn, take notes, and watch real dog psychology and behavior work in action without bringing a dog.

Join me in Raleigh, NC for a 2-day Dog Psychology 101 Masterclass focused on helping you better understand and solve the behavior problems dog owners deal with every day.

This audit ticket is for attendees who want to observe, learn, take notes, and watch real dog psychology and behavior work in action without bringing a dog. This in-person / IRL event is ideal for dog owners, professionals, and serious students who want a deeper understanding of dog training beyond obedience, emotional regulation, calm leadership, and relationship-based behavior work.

If you’re dealing with things like leash reactivity, fearfulness, overexcitement, pulling, barking, jumping, lack of focus, trouble settling, or household chaos, this masterclass will help you better understand what’s really driving those behaviors.

We’re going deeper than surface-level training tips. You’ll learn how to better read behavior, understand the psychology behind what you’re seeing, and make smarter decisions when problems show up in real life.

A big part of this masterclass will also include my Dogenality℠ framework, which helps you understand your dog as an individual. Because not all dogs are motivated by the same things, stressed by the same things, or helped by the same approach.

When you understand your dog’s Dogenality℠, behavior starts making more sense. You can better understand why your dog responds the way they do, what may be driving their struggles, and how to work with the dog in front of you instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all method.

This masterclass is designed to help you better understand:
reactivity and overstimulation,
fear and nervous behavior,
overexcitement and impulsive behavior,
household behavior issues,
dogs that struggle to settle,
disconnect on walks,
pushy or intense behavior,
and how your dog’s individual Dogenality℠ can shape the way those issues show up.

Whether you’re a dog owner trying to help your own dog or a professional wanting a deeper understanding of behavior, this event is about practical problem-solving and learning to see dogs more clearly.
