Raleigh Masterclass | Dog Behavior Workshop — October 10-11, 2026

Balance the Human + Rehab the Dog = Happy Life    Dog Psychology 101

Raleigh, North Carolina - October 10-11, 2026

Two days that change
how you see your dog.

A live Dog Psychology 101 Masterclass with Angie Woods. Real dogs. Real problems. Real answers built around the dog you actually live with.

Location Raleigh / Durham, NC
Dates October 10-11, 2026
Hours 9am - 5pm Both Days
Working Spots Limited

This is not obedience training.
This is dog psychology.

Most dog training teaches you what to do. This masterclass teaches you why your dog does what they do and what has to change in you before it changes in them.

Over two full days you will watch live evaluations of every working dog in the room, learn to read your dog's emotional state before it escalates, and leave with a completely different understanding of the animal you share your life with.

The behavior stops looking random when you understand what is driving it.

If this is your life right now,
you are in the right place.

  • You cross the street when you see another dog coming
  • You walk at 6am so nobody else is out there
  • You have stopped having people over because of how your dog behaves
  • You love this dog and you are embarrassed by them
  • You have done the reading, hired the professionals, tried the classes, the videos, the three different opinions
  • You are managing your dog instead of living with them

You have not failed. Nobody ever taught you what your dog is actually reading and until you know that, no amount of obedience reaches it.

What We Cover

Two days of real dog psychology.

Not tips. Not techniques. The actual framework behind why dogs do what they do and what to do about it.

Dogenality℠ - The Individual Dog

Not all dogs are wired the same way. Once you can see the type, the behavior stops looking random.

Dog Cognition

How a dog thinks, what they can and cannot connect, and why so much of what we ask makes no sense on their end.

Dog Emotion

What your dog is actually feeling, not what you assume. Fear, frustration, and over-arousal look alike and need opposite answers.

Dog Language

Everything your dog says before the growl. Most people miss all of it and only catch the last two seconds.

The Science of Scent and Emotion

Your dog reads your emotional state chemically through human pheromones before you speak. This is why the human has to be balanced first. Not philosophy. Biology.

Live Evaluations

Real dogs. Real problems. Watch the read, the diagnosis, and the plan unfold live, then watch those same dogs across two days.

Balance the Human

Controlling your thoughts, building emotional fitness, becoming the calm confident presence your dog can actually follow.

The Four Games

Calm and Relax, Invisible Line, Parking Spot, Bubble. Skills and communication that carry into your whole dog life, not tricks, not obedience.

Who is teaching.

40 Years With Dogs
17 Years in Vet Medicine
20+ Years Running U.S. Canine

I am Angie Woods. My work is dog psychology, leadership, emotional regulation, boundaries, relationship, and understanding the dog you actually have rather than the dog in the manual.

I ran U.S. Canine, my specialty behavior campus outside Atlanta, for more than twenty years. The dogs other people had given up on. The biters, the ones who could not leave the house, the ones that made their owners cry in the car after every walk.

The turning point in every single case was never a command. It was understanding.

When you understand who your dog actually is, their nervous system, their personality, their emotional state, the behavior stops being a mystery. And the relationship opens up.

I will bring my son Josh, who has twenty years in this work alongside me.

The Two Days.

Day One - Saturday October 10

The Evaluations.

Every working dog, one at a time. What I am seeing, what is driving it, what is stress and what is temperament, where the Dogenality℠ sits, and the plan from there. A room full of live case studies. Then the teaching begins, built around what those reads turned up.

Day Two - Sunday October 11

The Harder Ground.

Distraction, other dogs, real-life scenarios, and building your plan for home. You watch the same dogs from day one and see which reads held and what changed. Then you leave with your plan.

Both days run 9:00am to 5:00pm with a lunch break at noon. The exact venue in the Raleigh and Durham area, with parking on site and space for dogs to settle away from each other, is confirmed to all ticket holders by email. Vaccination records including rabies, DHPP, and bordetella are collected after booking.
