Two Day Dog Behavior Workshop with Angie Woods

Raleigh, North Carolina. Saturday October 10 and Sunday October 11, 2026.

Working Spot, $997

One person, one dog, both days.

Two days on why your dog does what they do, and what has to change in you before it

changes in them. This is dog psychology, not obedience.

Fifteen working spots only. I review every dog before the event.

If this is your life right now:

  • You cross the street when you see another dog
  • You walk at six in the morning so nobody else is out there
  • You have stopped having people over
  • You love this dog and you are embarrassed by them
  • You have done the reading, hired professionals, tried the classes and the videos and three different opinions
  • You are managing your dog instead of living with them

You have not failed. Nobody ever taught you what your dog is actually reading, and until

you know that, no amount of obedience reaches it.

What We Cover:

  • Dogenality℠, your dog's type. Not all dogs are wired the same way. Once you know which dog you actually have, the behavior stops looking random.
  • Dog cognition. How a dog thinks, what they can and cannot connect, and why so much of what we ask makes no sense on their end.
  • Dog emotion. What your dog is feeling, not what you assume they are feeling. Fear, frustration, and over arousal look alike and need opposite answers.
  • Dog language. Everything your dog says before the growl. Most people miss all of it and only catch the last two seconds.
  • The science of scent, emotion, and learning. Your dog reads your emotional statechemically, through human pheromones, before you say a word. This is why the human hasto be balanced before the dog can be rehabbed. It is not philosophy, it is biology.
  • Reading a dog in real time. Live evaluations both days. You watch the read, the diagnosis, and the plan on real dogs with real problems.
  • Dog psychology versus human psychology. We are primates. They are not. Almostevery problem starts in that gap, in the distance between how we love and how they readus.
  • Balance the Human. Controlling your thoughts, gaining emotional fitness, building confidence. I cannot change your dog without changing you first.
  • When to use food, and when not to.
  • The Four Games. Calm and Relax, Invisible Line, Parking Spot, Bubble. Games of skilland communication that carry into your whole dog life. Not tricks, not obedience.
  • Solutions for your dog's actual problem. Reactivity, fear, guarding, resource guarding, over arousal, the dog who cannot settle, the dog who listens at home and nowhere else. We work the issue you came with, on your dog, and you go home with the steps for that dog rather than general advice.

What you leave with:

  • A real read on your own dog and why they do what they do
  • The ability to see it coming while you still have options
  • Knowing what to do with your own dog, and how to work your issue through in stages instead of guessing at it
  • Four games you use every day instead of a list of corrections
  • A written plan for your dog, not a general one
  • Your half of it, which is the part nobody had told you

Balance the Human + Rehab the Dog =Happy Life.

Included:

  • Both full days, hands on with your own dog
  • Live evaluations across the two days
  • Your dog's Dogenality℠ assessment
  • The Secret Conversation, my essay on human pheromones and why the human comes first.
  • Calm the Chaos, my online course, to support you at home
  • Sixty days of group question and answer access after the workshop via the Live Q&A included in the course.

A written plan for your dog before you leave

Schedule:

Both days, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Lunch break at noon, on your own. I will send a list of

places nearby once the venue is confirmed.

Day one opens with the evaluations. Every working dog, one at a time. Everything

that follows comes out of what those reads turn up.

Day two goes to harder ground. Distraction, other dogs, real life, and building your

plan for home.

After You Book:

You will receive a short form about your dog. Their history, what you are struggling with,

and their vaccination records. It is how I plan the two days around the dogs who are

actually coming.

Who is Teaching:

I am Angie Woods. Nearly forty years with dogs, seventeen of those in veterinary medicine,

and more than twenty running U.S. Canine, my specialty behavior campus outside Atlanta

for severe and complex cases. The dogs other people had given up on.

My work is dog psychology. Leadership, emotional regulation, boundaries, relationship,

and understanding the dog you actually have rather than the dog in the manual.

With a full room my son Josh works alongside me. He has twenty years at this.

Venue:

Raleigh and Durham area, with parking on site and space for dogs to settle away

from each other. The exact location is confirmed to all ticket holders by email.

Vaccination records are collected on the form you receive after booking. Current rabies,

DHPP, and bordetella.

What to Bring:

Water and a bowl. A crate or settle mat if your dog uses one.

Clothes and shoes you can move in. Dress for the weather.

No Retractable Leashes

Transfers. Tickets are transferable.

Email me and I will move your spot

to another person.

Angie Woods doesn’t just rehabilitate dogs. She transforms the humans who love them.

A world-renowned dog psychologist, international speaker, educator, and lifelong animal advocate, Angie brings a rare and powerful perspective to canine behavior, one that honors the dog completely while building the human up alongside it.

Known for her kind candor, Angie is direct, deeply compassionate, and relentlessly results-driven. Her foundation includes 17 years in veterinary medicine and more than two decades building and leading U.S. Canine, her Atlanta-area specialty behavior campus for severe and complex dog behavior cases.

Now Angie is bringing that real-world experience to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a two-day Dog Psychology 101 Masterclass designed for dog owners, professionals, and serious students who want to understand what is truly driving behavior and how the human side of the leash shapes the outcome.

Join me in Raleigh, NC for a 2-day Dog Psychology 101 Masterclass focused on helping you better understand and solve the behavior problems dog owners deal with every day.

This working spot includes one person and one dog for Angie Woods’ live Dog Psychology 101 dog behavior workshop, clinic, and masterclass in the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina area.

This in-person / IRL dog training and behavior event is for owners who want hands-on guidance with their own dog while learning Angie’s real-world approach to dog psychology, behavior, emotional regulation, calm leadership, boundaries, and relationship-based work.

This is not ordinary obedience training. It is practical dog psychology for people who want to better understand their dog, improve communication, and build a calmer, more respectful relationship.

If you’re dealing with things like leash reactivity, fearfulness, overexcitement, pulling, barking, jumping, lack of focus, trouble settling, or household chaos, this masterclass will help you better understand what’s really driving those behaviors.

We’re going deeper than surface-level training tips. You’ll learn how to better read behavior, understand the psychology behind what you’re seeing, and make smarter decisions when problems show up in real life.

A big part of this masterclass will also include my Dogenality℠ framework, which helps you understand your dog as an individual. Because not all dogs are motivated by the same things, stressed by the same things, or helped by the same approach. And the 4 Games, Angie's skills and communication framework.

When you understand your dog’s Dogenality℠, behavior starts making more sense. You can better understand why your dog responds the way they do, what may be driving their struggles, and how to work with the dog in front of you instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all method.

This masterclass is designed to help you better understand:
reactivity and overstimulation,
fear and nervous behavior,
overexcitement and impulsive behavior,
household behavior issues,
dogs that struggle to settle,
disconnect on walks,
pushy or intense behavior,
and how your dog’s individual Dogenality℠ can shape the way those issues show up.

Whether you’re a dog owner trying to help your own dog or a professional wanting a deeper understanding of behavior, this event is about practical problem-solving and learning to see dogs more clearly.
